Automated trading carries a real risk of financial loss, including loss of your entire trading account balance. Please read this in full before connecting a live account.
goldscalp BOT is operated by Security Spot (Pty) Ltd, a company registered in South Africa (registration number 2026/521107/07). By creating an account or using goldscalp BOT ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms.
goldscalp BOT is a software tool that connects to your own trading account at a third-party broker and places trades automatically based on a preset technical strategy (candle-confirmation entries with martingale-style position management on XAUUSD). You provide your own broker account; the Service does not hold, custody, or have access to your funds directly — trades are executed through your broker via the MetaApi platform.

New accounts receive a free trial covering 5 trading days (120 hours), starting the moment you first tap Start on either a demo or a live account — not from the date you register. The trial clock runs continuously once started and is not paused or extended by stopping the bot, low margin, or any other reason.
If you connected a live account during the trial, you owe the full weekly subscription fee for that 5-day trial period once it ends, regardless of whether you stopped the bot early or it stopped trading due to low margin — this is a commitment to the trial period, not a pay-per-day-used arrangement. Demo-account trials do not incur a charge, but continued live trading after the trial requires an active paid subscription.
At trial expiry, no open positions are force-closed — any basket that is still open keeps being managed normally until it closes naturally. Only the ability to open new trades is paused until you subscribe.
You may cancel an active subscription at any time before renewal to avoid the next weekly charge; no partial-period refunds are given once a billing cycle has started.
Trading foreign exchange and gold (XAUUSD) on margin carries a high level of risk and may not be suitable for all investors. Before deciding to use an automated trading tool, you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite.
goldscalp BOT is a software execution tool, not a financial advisor. Nothing in the Service constitutes financial, investment, or trading advice. You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions, including the decision to arm the bot, the account you connect, and the amount of capital you risk.
You are responsible for maintaining your own broker account in good standing, including sufficient margin, accurate credentials, and compliance with your broker's own terms. Security Spot (Pty) Ltd is not affiliated with, and does not guarantee the conduct of, any third-party broker. goldscalp BOT currently supports HFMarkets (HFM) accounts only.
We require a minimum account balance of $300 to start the bot, and recommend at least $600 given the martingale-style position sizing used by the strategy. Starting with a lower balance materially increases the risk of the account being fully depleted during a losing sequence. This minimum is a risk guideline, not a guarantee of safety at any balance level.
Once an account is connected and the bot is armed, you must not manually open, close, or modify positions on that same account. Manual intervention can desynchronize the bot's tracking of its own basket and interfere with the martingale and target-close logic, potentially causing unexpected losses. Any losses resulting from manual trading alongside an armed bot are your responsibility.
Given the disclosed risk of automated trading and martingale-style position sizing, we do not offer refunds, compensation, or credits for trading losses, including a fully depleted ("blown") account balance. Subscription fees cover access to the Service itself, not a guarantee of trading outcomes.
To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, Security Spot (Pty) Ltd, its directors, and employees will not be liable for any trading losses, lost profits, or indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including losses caused by strategy performance, technical downtime, broker issues, or connectivity failures.
Your broker account number and trading password are used to connect your account to the trading infrastructure that executes trades on your behalf. We take reasonable technical measures to protect stored credentials, but as with any online service, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and you accept this residual risk by connecting an account.
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for non-payment, suspected abuse, or activity that risks the stability of the Service for other users.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
