You don't need MT5 for the bot to work — it connects directly to your HFM account in the cloud, whether or not MT5 is installed. But downloading it lets you watch your balance and trades happen live, which most people find reassuring. If you'd rather skip it, your server name is also in your HFM welcome email and on HFM's own website.
Opening MT5 to watch is totally fine. But once the bot is running, never manually open, close, or modify a trade yourself on that account — even one small manual trade will confuse the bot's tracking of its own basket and can break the whole strategy. Watch only; let the bot do the trading.
You'll need this exact name on the next screen. If you're in MT5: Navigator → right-click your account → Properties. Skipped MT5? It's also in your HFM welcome email, or under your account details on HFM's website.
